Lynton has represented the Victorian under 21 State Side in Cricket and the Under 19 Victorian Amateur Football Association State Representative side. Lynton has also won the A-Grade Open Competition Best and Fairest in the Moreland and Moonee Valley Cricket Association as a teenager and the competition Best and Fairest in the Victorian Amateur Football Association.
